Romans 5:6-8

Did you miss that in your reading? Why take things out of context with
Jacob and Esau? Esau was Godless as stated in Hebrews. He sold his birthright
for food? And the verse having to do with human love or emotion. Furthermore,
Esau refers to the Godless descendant, the Edomites, as opposed to the
descendants of Jacob.
I come to you as one man, though I am nowhere near perfection, I
boldly declare what I know and what I have been taught by the Holy Spirit
through the Word of God, which is the Sword of the Spirit. God Loves Us. Job
34:14 - If it were his intention, and he withdrew his Spirit and breath, all

Mr Portword you are a stinking filthy heretic of
the deepest religious dye, let me proceed and explain to you why...
1) you accuse me of NOT reading the bible, have YOU
READ it all word for word yourself, have YOU considered every last word, for
Jesus himself said "man shall NOT live by bread alone but by every word that
proceeds out of the mouth of God"... Did you somehow miss Romans 9:13 where
the apostle clearly states Esau have I hated. God is an eternal being and God
is spirit, therefore God eternally loves SOME and eternally HATES all others,
what part of that did you miss in your theological studies, or do you even
study theology to begin with.
2) you do NOT have a clue about the exegesis of John
3:16 in relation to the rest of the bible; YOU yes YOU are a universalist,
which is blatant heresy. you cannot take John 3:16 OUT OF CONTEXT from the
rest of the bible... the election of grace is clearly laid out in Gods decree
in Ephesians the first chapter, where it is plain to see the apostle Paul
writes that God the Father gave SOME to Christ his son in election.
Furthermore, John 3:16 in relation to your exposition on the word 'kosmos' is
utter rubbish and bunkum, pure balderdash, how's that grab you in your
heretical teaching concerning Gods love.
If you had understood the true nature of Gods love
you wouldn't even be writing this messege to me, because you would understand
what the bible does teach about the "selective nature" of Gods love. God
doesn't owe love to any man. While it is true God is merciful to all men as
sinners and tolerates them in their sin, it is pure and utter heresy to even
suggest that Gods love is given to all sinners in a salvational sense, and
roman 9:13 proves this matter of factly in your face with the plain statement
"Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated"... what part of the REST of Johns
gospel did you miss when John speaks about goats and sheep? Esau was a goat,
and Jacob was a sheep, so its plain to see and any believer who is a christian
can see there are sheep (believers) and there are goats (unbelievers).
If you don't understand that you don't even
understand the basics of salvation 101. You cannot put God in a position of
unversally offering salvation to ALL men as you would like to suggest with
your erroneous interpretation of John 3:16, simply because there is a
qualification even there which is FAITH. All men do NOT have faith, and faith
is a gift (which is ONLY given to the elect loved ones of God) is NOT given to
all men let alone offered to all men.
If you cannot see that, well you are just plain
spiritually blind, simple as that and need to be born again. Furthermore God
doesn't OFFER salvation to ANYBODY or any sinner period, HE APPLIES salvation
in the covenant of redemption, there is a universe of difference, maybe you
should study a bit more theology before spinning your diatribes.

the adverb houtos must be understood in the light of the verb it

How should we view the love of God? He loved the
world (kosmos). Should we think of God’s love as being so extensive and so
intense that He gave His unique Son? Does the word kosmos include everyone
without exception? Most people think this refers to the extent of God’s love.
However, this text does not refer to quantity but quality. It speaks of the
depth of God’s love, the character of that love. The word kosmos can be used
many ways. For instance, it is used three times in John 1:10 and has a
different meaning each time: “He [Christ] was in the world [kosmos, inhabited
world], and the world [kosmos, material world] was made through Him, and the
world [kosmos, world of unbelievers] did not recognize Him”
(translation).
The word kosmos in II Corinthians 5:18-19 refers to
those the Father gave to the Son in the covenant of redemption: “And all
things from God the One having reconciled us to Himself through Christ and
having given to us the ministry of reconciliation, as that God was in Christ
reconciling the world [kosmos, the world of the elect] to Himself...”
(translation). Everyone without exception will not be reconciled to Jesus
Christ. Only those the Father gave to the Son, without the loss of one, will
be reconciled. Jesus Christ was sent from the Father because He loved us
eternally. He came down to where we were. The Holy Spirit imparted in us the
work Jesus Christ accomplished at Calvary, and the love of God was poured out
in our hearts. As a result, Christians love one another. This love is
expressed by all its recipients, and it goes back up in praise, honor, and
glory to the One who loved us with eternal love. Thus, the constative use of
the verb agapao in John 3:16 contemplates love in its entirety.
I am giving the truth about Gods love which is
defined within the context of the "election of grace", you are NOT, yet you
condemn the truth I give, God will find you out and expose you and show you
for the lies your false foundation is built on, you can count on that.
Futhermore let me ask you, if Jesus Christ died for
all men as you claim, when Jesus died on the cross, did He also die for those
who were in hell during that moment in time??? Think about this good and hard,
for the fact is all those elect LOVED ones who have the ability by god given
faith to understand the TEACHING about Gods true love, know and fully
comprehend that Gods love is indeed limited to the ELECT loved ones whom God
has chosen.

interpretation of Romans 9:13... while it is true God hated the edomites the
descendent of Esau as the prophet Malachi prophesies, romans 9:13 is clear, it
speaks of individuals.. specific persons... salvation is specific and
individual... God hated Esau... and yes God hates goats.. majority of humanity
who hate Christ are goats.. broad is the road that leads to destruction and
FEW be that find it Jesus tells us... salvation is not for ALL, even though it
is preached to all, but you wouldn't understand that in your humanistic
polytheistic free will religion now would you. Also there is NO universal
salvation offered in reality to ALL sinners in Romans 5:6-8... irregardless of
what you would LIKE to imply. You cannot take one passage out of the bible OUT
OF CONTEXT from the rest of the bible. All those whom Christ died for, HIS
elect loved ones will have faith and will believe simply because God enables
them to do so, its that simple, but to even suggest that God offers salvation
in the effectual call of the spirit is heresy. Just because the seed is sown
to all men and preached to all men, does not imply God effectual calls all
men. Perhaps you would care to read on in Johns gospel
Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which
hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but
should raise it up again at the last day.
What part of that did you miss.. its plainly stated,
the Father gave SOME to his son Christ, NOT all, so that right there refutes
your "universalist salvation" stance and position.
All those whom the Father has given to the son in the
covenant of redemption and grace WILL BE saved, there is nothing in there
about whosoever will NOR a free will choice. While we are held accountable to
choose Christ all of us, there is nothing in the bible about the sinner having
a FREE or UNFETTERED UNHINDERED WILL... mans free will was lost in the fall,
but of your you wouldn't understand that being an Arminian Pelagian. There are
TWO WHOSOEVER WILLS in the bible .. read Matthew 16:25... one whosoever will
for the elect and one for the goats, NOT ONE GENERAL whosoever will invitation
as you maintain and claim in your delusion. That verse right there refutes
your stinking universalism and universal brotherhood of all men.

Bush – the worst president ever
“We
have had a number of incompetent Presidents but beyond any doubt,
George W. Bush is the worst. Aside from his compulsive, and easily
exposed lies, let us consider Bush’s failures of his global war plans.
Note: Portions of this material have previously been published on the
Internet and in the foreign press but rarely addressed in the captive
American media.
Five years after Bush ordered Afghanistan
invaded and, true to form, smugly announced a complete U.S. military
victory, US, and a very small number of ‘Allies” allied forces are
struggling on a daily basis to defend their bases and supply lines
against rising attacks from a growing number of Afghan resistance
groups. The war in both Iraq and Afghanistan costs the American
taxpayer $1.5 billion monthly. As an added bonus, US-ruled Afghan now
produces over 80% of the world’s heroin. The US just quietly deployed
thousands more troops to Afghanistan to hunt al-Qaida leaders Osama bin
Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in a desperate attempt to save Republicans
from heavy losses in November mid-term elections.
Remember Fat
Karl Rove’s grotesque "Mission accomplished!" in Iraq? President Bush’s
war in Iraq is clearly lost, but few dare admit it. The US has spent
over $300 billion in taxpayer’s money on Afghanistan and Iraq, with
nothing to show in either theater but chaos, civil war, body bags, and
growing Iranian influence in Iraq and western Afghanistan. The
Bush/Cheney "liberation" of Iraq has now cost more than the Vietnam
War. So much for the "cakewalk." Iraq is likely the biggest American
foreign policy disaster in living memory – even worse, in many ways,
than Vietnam.
Down in the strategic Horn of Africa, another
dangerous fiasco is unfolding. The White House had CIA and Pentagon
have spent tens of millions of U.S. taxpayer’s money bribing Somali
warlords to fight Islamist reformers trying to bring law and order to
their strife-ravaged nation. The Islamists whipped CIA-backed warlords
and ran them out of Somalia. Following this defeat, the US has
encouraged and financed ally Ethiopia – shades of Lebanon – to invade
Somalia, thus raising the threat of a wider war between Somalia,
Ethiopia, and its old foe, Eritrea. Meanwhile, growing numbers of US
Special Forces and CIA teams are getting drawn into obscure tribal
mêlées in the Horn of Africa and the Saharan regions.
Lebanon
is, of course, the fourth major American military disaster. Bush and
Cheney encouraged Israel to launch the hugely destructive but
militarily fruitless war in Lebanon as the first part of their
long-nurtured plan to militarily crush Hezbullah, Syria and Iran. The
Bush Administration brazenly thwarted world efforts to halt the
conflict while giving Israel the green light to tear apart Lebanon.
Now, just over a month later, Bush announces he will send $230 million
to "help rebuild" Lebanon – the same Lebanon blasted apart by US smart
bombs rushed by air to Israel by a sycophantic Bush. That the UN has
condemned the use of these bombs is, of course, of no interest to
either Bush or his opposite numbers in Israel
To Washington and
Tel Avis’s, horror, Iran, and Syria emerged the war’s victors.
Hezbollah is now the Muslim World’s new hero after battling Israel’s
mighty armed forces to a humiliating draw. Even Syria’s President
Bashar Asad, who played dead during the Lebanon War in fear of an
Israeli attack, is now thumping his chest and crowing that Syria played
a major role in the unexpected Arab victory.
Hezbollah’s triumph
thwarted, at least for the moment, Bush/Cheney plans to attack Lebanon,
Syria and Iran. The US and Israel have become so used to smashing
nearly helpless foes armed with obsolete weapons – like Iraq, Taliban,
or Palestine – that they were stunned to meet a force that had modern
arms and could actually fight.
No sooner had bombing stopped
than Hezbullah bulldozers were busy clearing rubble, and Hezbullah
social workers resettling refugees. Perhaps President Bush should ask
Hezbullah to take over rebuilding New Orleans and resettling all its
refugees.
Israelis have now turned from fighting Arabs to
furious finger-pointing. Politicians and generals are blaming each
other for the Lebanon debacle that killed over eleven hundred 118
Israeli soldiers and 41 civilians, cost at least $6 billion, ruined the
summer tourist trade, and, after a burst of initial sympathy, brought
worldwide condemnation. And no captured soldiers – this war’s supposed
objective – have been yet returned.
By turning a routine border
skirmish into a big war, Israel’s PM Ehud Olmert showed he had no more
grasp of military affairs than those other amateur warlords, Bush,
Cheney and Tony Blair. Lebanon also showed that the western leaders
learned nothing from their debacle in Iraq.
Now, some Washington
hawks are wondering if invading Iran may not be the "cakewalk" that
pro-Israel neoconservatives blithely promised. Iran’s Revolutionary
Guards helped train and arm Hezbullah’s victorious fighters. Suddenly,
neither the Israelis nor the Americans look so invincible. As Napoleon
said, in war, the moral is to the physical as three to one.
America
was the big loser in the Lebanon war. From Morocco to Indonesia, each
night 1.5 billion Muslims watched the carnage in Lebanon on TV and
blamed America. Even the poorest shepherd in Uzbekistan heard the US
was airlifting the precision bombs and deadly cluster munitions to
Israel used against Lebanese civilians.
Any hope of damping down
the Islamic World’s surging hatred of the US, Britain, Australia and
Israel (now add Canada) was killed in Lebanon. Even the
interestingly-timed airport hysteria in London over alleged bomb plots
failed to divert attention from the latest US-British Mideast policy
disaster.
Yet the White House still keeps listening to absurd
military advice from the same fanatically pro-Israel neoconservatives
thirsting for conquest, oil and Muslim blood. Undaunted even by the
fiasco in Lebanon, the Bush/Cheney White House is now heading into a
full-blown crisis with Iran over its nuclear enrichment program.
As
far as the civilian, domestic disasters, one need only mention the
hurricane Katrina that clearly showed a total lack of interest (except
for pro-Bush businessmen who reaped rich rewards) in the fate of poor
New Orleans blacks. And of course we have the constant hyping of the
fear factor to keep the electorate in line and supportive of the
Republican’s murderous and short-sighed policies.

* To avoid being called as a witness in a criminal prosecution

The bottom line:
If important persons in the Bush Administration are indicted, and
there
is a significant danger that revelations damaging to the President will
surface, don't be surprised if the President uses his ace in the hole--
the pardon power. Some might argue that the President simply wouldn't
dare; others will insist that he would be impeached if he tries it. But
what the President is likely to do depends on the alternatives if he
doesn't act, and remember, the Congress is controlled by members of his
own party, not by the opposition as was the case during the Clinton
Presidency. This president has a knack for self-preservation; and if
the pardon power is the best alternative he has, you can be sure that
he will use it.
One thing that also has to be put into the
equation is Joseph Wilson's possible civil suit for damages arising
from the leak of his wife's identity. A pardon wouldn't relieve Bush or
Cheney from having to give depositions in the lawsuit.
Perhaps
Joseph Wilson has gotten word to Libby's and Rove's attorneys that if
they agree to plead guilty to any charges, he would consider his pound
of flesh extracted and not file a civil suit.

Introduction :
My husband told me at the middle of November 2006 that the 8th floor of the Albany VA Medical Center was under investigation.
Development :
VA OFFICE
LOCATED IN THE MASSENA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL : A) Even
if his case was considered urgent (within 24 hours) I had to do
pressure to get a bed in a VA hospital (we finally got a bed at the
Albany VA Medical Center on Nov. 19th, 2006) and he had the time to
suffocate twice with all this liquid in his lungs before his transfer; ALBANY/STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER B) They
saw he was seriously ill but they did not put him first on a liver
transplant list which would be the first thing to do when you know the
person is having a ill liver. As an indication, Ash
thought his liver condition was better than his brother-in-law who has
a liver disease too simply because he was already on a liver transplant
list;
C) After
they discovered the hepatitis C in October 2006 they should give Ashley
the appropriate medicine and that would at least control the damages
made to the liver while waiting « forever » to get this tips procedure
– in fact, Ash got this procedure done a week before (Nov. 17th, 2006)
his hospital release (Nov. 22nd, 2006);
D) There was a huge difference of my husband’s condition before going to this VA hospital and after.
They
did not put him on a low protein diet first (instead of a liquid diet)
–the change of diet occurred when it was already too late at the end of
the hospitalization - which was a must because his liver wasn’t able to
manage a large amount of proteins properly. Excess protein puts undue
stress on the kidneys and the liver and this is causing this toxic
product called ammonia. This may put a person at risk for serious
health problems, including encephalopathy or hepatic coma. Abnormally
high levels can also cause problems, including inflamed kidneys and
back pain and I remember Ashley complaining about a back pain.
His
ammonia level became totally out of control (going as high as 393 so he
could surely die) and this never happened before at home. His
kidneys were fine before his hospitalization at the Albany VA Medical
Center but they were in a bad shape after his release from this
hospital as Dr. Nimesh Desai told us on Nov. 28th, 2006; since his
kidneys were fine before his hospitalization I am deducting that even
if his liver was ill it was able to manage the proteins he was taking
in low quantity/good quality at home; (I won’t comment the quality of
the food at the VA for now)
E) Ashley
never had to take the lactulose at home to control his ammonia level in
his body and he had to take lactulose on a regular basis after his
transfer to this VA Medical Center and had to have lactulose at home
after his hospital release. So his ammonia level became out of control during and after this hospitalization.
On the Veterans Day last year, (Nov. 11th, 2006) they
were supposed to check his ammonia level simply because his level was
high (140) Nov. 9th, 2006 and Nov. 10th the ammonia level was still at
100 (as a reference, about 75 begins to be dangerous for most people)
before and Dr. James County did not check it even if I insisted. The day after, my husband was at the intensive care unit in the coma. (the
doctor called me at 10 :15 a.m. at the Fisher House I used from Nov.
3rd to Nov. 22nd 2006, the date of Ash’s release) That is true that
Ashley refused the lactulose but when I saw that I was not heard by Dr.
County I showed to Lori Bobersky who as the social worker a proof that
my husband was not himself because he sticked his chewing gum at the
middle of a brand new newspaper so this was a sure proof of
encephalopathy plus I also showed to Mrs. Bobersky who was supposed to
have a cue about temporary mental problems because she was a social
worker that my husband was having a catatonic (rigid) position on his
bed for hours, having his head between his two hands and looking to a
rigid point in the space for countless minutes, at least 30 minutes and
he was very far from being a catatonic schizophrenic so I proved by
these two events that something was deadly wrong with him so of course
with this encephalopathy he was not able to take a right decision about
the lactulose and that is why I asked the nurse to keep the lactulose
aside for later. They are quick to say that he refused to
take his lactulose but I told Dr. Konstantin Timofeev at the ICU that
they failed to check his ammonia level like they were supposed to after
the last episode at 140.
F) They
gave him Morphine and this drug is non-indicated when your liver is not
working properly and it was written in his records that he was allergic
to it anyway – or his ammonia level went to the roof and/or he reached
a dangerous level of poisoning (about 200) and the proof is that all he
was able to say was a serial number like : what is your first name? 2-4-6. what is your last name? 2-4-6. What is your birthdays? 2-4-6, etc… He missed by very few the coma. Ash even mentioned to them that the Morphine was hurting his vision and was knocking him out. Even the nurse I spoke with on the phone was agree that Ashley was in danger;
G)
Ashley was scared to death to be sent back to a VA Medical Center (and
I don’t blame him at all) even in his very bad state on Nov. 28th, 2006
when he was at the Massena Memorial Hospital; (and
the reason why I waited two (2) days is that I tried all I could to
make my husband feel better and it did not work so I did not have the
choice to send him by ambulance to the Massena Memorial Hospital
because I known that I couldn’t save his life at home and I known he
was in a dangerous state)
H) Ash
became yellow four (4) days after his hospital release and he died
eight (8) days after his hospitalization to the Massena Memorial
Hospital;
I) Ash met Christopher H. Lowery, VA patient advocate on Nov. 15th and I wrote to him on Nov. 16th that : «
I am truly scared to leave to go back home for just a couple of days to
take care of what would ease my husband’s mind (and coming back to
Albany right after) simply because of what happened. Most folks are dying at 393 ammonia level ».
After
Ashley’s death, I communicated with Congressman John M. McHugh on
December 19th 2006 to complain about the bad services received at the
Albany VA Medical Center and also the VA office at the Massena Memorial
Hospital. I did complain to a U.S. Official – without mentioning that I
complained also to Congressman Ron Paul on January 7th, 2007 but did
not receive a reply.
Ash waited the medical approbation to be discharged. Below are the replies from the director of the VA and the Congressman McHugh :
The
director of the VA from the Stratton VA Medical Center, Marie-Helene
Piche, Fache told to the Congressman McHugh on April 5th, 2007 this:
« Rev. Buchanan presented to Stratton VAMC suffering from several liver related conditions that left him seriously ill. During
his inpatient stay,, Rev. Buchanan had extensive diagnostic workups but
was not agreeable to further testing needed to determine his
qualification as a candidate for liver transplant. Rev. Buchanan stated to staff his wish to have his care transferred to a VAMC in Florida and sought discharge ».
May I respectfully disagree? They
wanted to test if Ashley had liver cancer to see if they will put him
on a liver transplant list or not at the very end of his
hospitalization instead of at the very beginning. Ash had
more than enough of the type of care he was receiving without
mentioning the fact that it took a very long time to have this TIPS
procedure done – at least a month to wait on a hospital bed for this
and having this type of food to eat.
Congressman McHugh told me this on April 26th, 2007 - his exact words: « I believe you will find her comments self-explanatory ». My comments : Your belief was very far from the truth, Sir………
Conclusion :
Please
know Mr. Flora that other horrible things happened to my husband but
they are not recorded in the medical files so I did not mention them
but they are written in my journals like for example Dr. Ming Fey Luo
told me also (like my husband did) that he had this big intervention
(tube inserted in his body) without a painkiller at that is further to
the fact that Ash asked for a painkiller after this painful chirurgical
procedure and they gave him the Morphine which caused a dangerous level
of poisoning mentioned before.
If
the Albany VA Medical Center are not competent enough to help ill
patients like my husband was then they should just take care of what is

a.s.a.p., Sir. Thank you *** Please allow me to ask for a specific
request for My Ashley. I would like to know what the officials of the
Department of Veteran affairs can do about what happened to him so I am
trying to summarize below from my thirty-five (35) pages document. By
the way, Ashley told me about the middle of November the 8th floor of
the Albany VA Medical Center is under investigation - this is giving
you an indication even if what we lived seems unbelievable, we really
experienced it. Like there is a old French saying: “There is no smoke
without fire”. VA Hospitals: I remember you communicated with the
officials of the Department of Veterans administration explaining the
type of care he received at the Albany VA Medical Center. Thank you
very much for that initiative, Mr. McHugh. From the proofs I was able
to get, Ashley first asked for help for liver problems at the VA
PCC-Silver-Halasy Clinic in North Carolina at least on August 31st,
2004 (the date of the letter sent to him from their office) and at the
Massena VA office at least in June 2005 (please check the happy
birthday card sent by the Albany VA Healthcare Network Upstate, NY on
Smith road so it has to be in 2005) so I have absolutely all the
reasons to believe that if the right thing would be done i.e. put
Ashley on a liver transplant list, he would be alive today - if of
course, they would really have the expertise based on several years of
practice to do a liver transplant I should add from my experience at
the Albany VA Medical Center I will summarize below. There was a huge
difference of his condition before going to this VA hospital and after.
1- Ashley never had to take lactulose at home before his time at the
Albany VA Medical Center; 2- He never had a high level of ammonia in
his system at home; 3- He never told incoherent things before due to
the ammonia going straight to his brain instead of being treated by his
liver first. Never. (This is called encephalopathy (brain disease)
caused by accumulation of excess of ammonia). To see a very intelligent
man (even being a member of the prestigious Who’s Who) in this state
was heartbreaking to say the least but I understood quick it was a
temporary state; 4- Ashley went at the ICU with an ammonia level of 393
because I wasn’t heard. This is called: hepatic coma and this coma
followed the encephalopathy. I observed during the afternoon and the
evening the encephalopathy Ashley was experiencing – Dr. James County
who was supposed to check his ammonia level told me in the afternoon
that Ashley was feeling fine. (and that’s why I asked the help of Lori
Bobersky right after) I asked repeatedly to check his ammonia level on
the Veteran’s day like the doctor was supposed to do it in Saturday
morning November 11th and I asked repeatedly the nurse between 7:00 –
10:00 p.m. to take care of Ashley and unfortunately, Dr. Susan Rhee who
is usually giving an excellent service forgot to come when the nurse
paged her at the nurse station. (There is good doctors and nurses but
they aren’t enough to really do a difference, at least at the Albany VA
Medical Center) I asked Lori Bobersky the social worker to come see
Ashley in the afternoon because he did something very unusual, to stick
a piece of gum inside a new newspaper – I known from that behavior the
ammonia was going straight to his brain because it wasn’t totally
“himself” (because of the encephalopathy). Ashley replied to her he was
tired and she “bought” that even if I told her I already saw may times
Ashley tired and he never had an irrational behavior like this even
with an extreme fatigue. Something has to be deadly wrong…. All Ashley
was able to do is sit on his bed and to hold his head with his two
hands bend his head and close his eyes – of course he wasn’t able to
ask for help in this state!!! The day after, another doctor called me
at the Fisher House (located in the front of the Hospital) at 10:15
a.m. to tell me Ashley was at the ICU in the coma. At the ICU, Dr.
Timofeev Stan was telling me that my husband didn’t take his lactalose
(he refused it but like I said he wasn’t totally himself with all this
ammonia going directly to his brain) but he didn’t know what happened
on Saturday morning so I filled him about the fact Dr. James County
didn’t check his ammonia level even if he was supposed to because
Ashley had an ammonia peak on Thursday November 9th – the ammonia level
was at 140 and because Dr. Susan Rhee heard me, she checked it and
prescribed the lactalose so his ammonia level was at 100 after the
treatment (the ammonia level of most people is about 20) but since he
was at that point, they were supposed to check it on Saturday morning.
If Ashley known his ammonia level was high, he would be scared and
would take his lactulose. One nurse at the ICU wanted to give Ashley
Morphine (again !!!!!) when he had a Gastric Reflax. Even if I told her
Ashley could surely have serious problems if he would take Morphine,
she came back saying to Ash: “you are refusing to take Morphine” and I
replied: “he is not refusing to take Morphine, he know fully well he
would have serious problems and most likely die” if he would take it,
especially after this ammonia peak level at 393 and going to an hepatic
coma. After 30 minutes of research for a painkiller because I wanted
something better for Ash than Morphine they finally found the fentanyl
and that’s why I know and found they could give him this painkiller
when they did the “¾ inch tube procedure”. I am totally and entirely
sure Mr. McHugh the Albany VA Medical Center are the ones who trashed
his liver and that's why the ammonia began to be totally out of control
after a while at the Albany VA Medical Center. Not before. That never
had been the case at home. (Anyway, the VA office in North Carolina and
the VA Hospital in Syracuse is entirely responsible for not putting
Ashley on a liver transplant list and even the Albany VA Medical Center
were only considering the possibility of putting him on this list
towards the end of his hospitalization - it is what they said to him)
Here is why: 1) Surgery without a painkiller - a real torture. ¾ inch
tube inserted in his body passing inside his belly, his lungs and
finishing near his neck on Oct 19th, 2006 about 11:15 p.m. – not only I
know I truly can believe Ashley’s words (he was an upright man) but
also Dr. Ming Fey Luo told me also my husband had this intervention
without a painkiller. They could at least find the fentanyl if they
would do their “homework”. Of course, Ashley wanted to have this
surgery because between the request for Ashley on Oct. 17th 2006 to go
at the Albany Hospital (we were at the Massena Memorial Hospital
through the VA office since the beginning of the day of Oct. 16th) and
also Ashley had to wait until Oct 19th about 11:15 p.m. to get this
procedure done he had the time to suffocate twice with all this liquid
in his lungs Sir so for sure he was more than ready for this surgery
and it’s not something you should worry about when you are in a
hospital if they would give you a painkiller…or not. 2) They offered to
diminish his pain after the “surgery” without telling him they were
about to give him Morphine. He trusted they knew what they were doing;
but after the fifth shot he asked what they were giving him and they
told him it was Morphine which he did not want but it was too late.
Ashley’s ammonia level went straight to the roof about 200 and was
intoxicated for 4-5 hours, repeating “2-4-6” or “4-2-6” when asked any
questions. It is all he was able to speak for hours; it also appeared
to me he had been put into an opioid trance or overdose on the top of
the ammonia problem. I believe the combinaison of the two incidents
mentioned above (1 + 2) put him in a situation he would surely be
psychologically weaker and wouldn't think about the kind of help they
were about to give him. (Morphine) (I have a Master degree in
Psychology from Canada) Of course, he wanted a relief of his
excruciating pain…who, with a right mind wouldn’t want that? 3) The
hospital fed him large quantities of proteins such as meat Ash began to
be yellow exactly on Nov. 26th, 2006, 4 days after the Albany VA
Medical Center released him, he was crashing and was carried by
ambulance at the Massena Memorial Hospital on Nov. 28th, 2006 about
5:00 p.m. and died on Dec. 5th, 2006...... His liver was worse than
ever before and that caused a sequence of physical breakdowns that
would ultimately cause his death. (liver shut down, kidneys shut down,
lungs shut down and cardiopulmonary arrest) I wanted so bad Ashley to
have a liver transplant before his kidneys would totally shut down…but
it was too late. (I first thought the change in his color was my
imagination because this apartment doesn’t have enough light in.) Sir,
I don’t know exactly what trashed Ashley’s liver, I don’t wish to
pretend to be a liver specialist but I believe the large amounts of
proteins from meat did “the job”. The husband of my sister in law, Anne
Buchanan Green has a liver problem too and he has to be on a low
protein diet – this is a must. Ashley thought his liver condition was
better than Merk (he had not been offered services to diagnose his
nagging health problems; no one even mentioned getting on a liver
transplant list like Merk) in fact, it was the opposite….Here is from a
relevant source of informations: “This does not mean, however, that
eating a diet containing enormous amounts of protein is the answer. In
fact, it is unhealthy. Excess protein puts undue stress on the kidneys
and the liver, which are faced with processing the waste products of
protein metabolism. Nearly half of the amino acids in dietary protein
are transformed into glucose by the liver and utilized to provide
needed energy to the cells. This process results in a waste product,
ammonia. Ammonia is toxic to the body, so the body protects itself by
having the liver turn the ammonia into a much less toxic compound,
urea, which is then carried through the bloodstream, filtered out by
the kidneys, and excreted. As long as protein intake is not too great
and the liver is working properly, ammonia is neutralized almost as
soon as it is produced, so it does no harm. However, if there is too
much ammonia for the liver to cope with—as a result of too much protein
consumption, poor digestion, and /or a defect in liver function—toxic
levels may accumulate. Strenuous exercise also tends to promote the
accumulation of excess ammonia. This may put a person at risk for
serious health problems, including encephalopathy (brain disease) or
hepatic coma. Abnormally high levels of urea can also cause problems,
including inflamed kidneys and back pain. Therefore, it is not the
quantity but the quality of protein in the diet that is important (see
DIET AND NUTRITION in Part One)”. Source:

put Ashley on a low protein diet (a sudden change of mind) at the end
of his hospitalization when it was too late i.e. when his ammonia level
in his body was just totally out of control. The Strong Memorial
Hospital in Rochester, NY (not a VA Hospital) The lady at family
services in the Massena Memorial Hospital (I don’t have her name)
offered us the possibility of a liver transplant from the The Strong
Memorial Hospital and she even called back Meredith Grey at: (518)
275-6018 with my offer to pay for everything. The Strong Memorial
Hospital finally cancelled it, she said to me December 5th in the
afternoon. My point is: if the Massena Memorial Hospital doctor, Mr.
Nimesh Desai and the nurses believed there was absolutely no hope for
Ashley at that point, why the family services lady offered a liver
transplant to Ashley?!? They are supposed to work as a team, right? Why
to give this hope if there would be no hope?!? In conclusion about the
VA hospitals, my husband suffered a lot before dying and I am standing
as long as I am alive to tell the truth about the way he died. In a
letter to To Christopher H. Lowery, VA Patient Advocate dated on Thu,
16 Nov 2006 21:43:29 -0500 (EST) I concluded this: “I am truly scared
to leave to go back to Massena for just a couple of days to take care
of what could ease Ashley’s mind (and coming back to Albany right
after) simply because of what happened. Most folks are dying before
reaching a 393 ammonia level”. I don’t know exactly what can be done by
the officials of the Department of Veteran Affairs Sir and if possible
I would really love to know what they wish to do further to your
communication with them before December 4th, 2006 – I am exposing you
my request for this wonderful man – a genius (member of the who’s who
and more….) who had a heart of Gold, a Godly man. This is the biggest
loss of my life. We did everything together, including co-working,
collaborating together. Our personality and our abilities were working
very, very well together and I know I can not replace Ashley M.
Buchanan because he was a so special person. Green card: Please allow
me to ask a request for myself if you please can do something and the
main problem behind all the consequences I am actually facing in the
U.S. is directly in relation with Immigration. I wish to provide you a
proof of what I am about to tell you Mr. McHugh because it sounds
unbelievable so I’ll make sure to include a paper copy of the proof
with this letter. What I should tell you from the start is the fact
Ashley had to prove to the Immigration he was a U.S. Citizen at the end
of June 2005 and they were sitting on my case until they will get the
copy of the passport they were asking for but fact is they were
refusing Ash’s birth certificate but for getting the passport, it was
based on providing the birth certificate to the passport guys so thank
God, the passport guys were not having the same problem than
Immigration guys. We had to wait on the U.S. passport process and this
was totally unnecessary simply because when you were born on a U.S.
Army Base like my husband was you are automatically a U.S. Citizen and
when you served in the U.S. Navy like my husband did you are
automatically a U.S. Citizen so that was pretty mean to let pend the
Immigration process until Ashley will get the passport based anyway on
the birth certificate !! Ashley submitted the Immigration forms on
March 18th, 2005 and they made him wait exactly 2 ½ months to tell him
now he should get a U.S. passport to prove he was a U.S. Citizen.
Ashley was most definitively a U.S. Citizen and I sincerely don’t know
what they problem is. If a U.S. Citizen is treated this way by
Immigration, then please consider the Immigrant actually writing to you
could have “administrative” issues with them….easily. In brief, I can
not work, I can not get a non-driver ID card for the bank, I can not
pay the bills by checks, I can not get Ash’s car, I can not learn to
drive and finally I can not get a driver license…without this green
card. I am in a fix in the U.S. and I truly don’t want to leave for now
– after all, my Visa is good for a year according to what is written on
my Visa so until June 8th, 2007 – because I need bad to mourn in the
Pine Grove Cimetery. Here are the administrative type of problems I am
actually experiencing: At the borders, I got problems and more
precisely I should add I was harassed. The first thing they told me is
my Visa was expired so I thought they wouldn’t even let me bury my
husband (I am truly honored to take care of everything related to it)
and at least recover his belongings in our apartment. (I am paying the
bills since Ashley was sick by U.S. Money Orders) This happened at the
Fort Covington POE and I had three witnesses: Merk & Anne Green
(Ash’s sister and his brother in law) and Stephen Buchanan. (his son)
There is an expiration date on my Visa and it was Dec. 7th, 2006 and
Ashley and I worried about this three months ago and we went at the
Roosevelt POE. The top Immigration guy there (I don’t’ have his name)
explained to us it as my limit to enter in the U.S. but my temporary
permanent residence is good for a year like it is written on my Visa.
Back to Fort Covington POE, when I told to this man who was telling me
my time was expired in the U.S. that the Congressman John M. McHugh
knows perfectly my situation and from that point his attitude changed.
This happened on December 10th, 2006 about 4:30 p.m. You know how hard
my Ashley worked to make me enter legally….. Now that’s the Department
of Motor Vehicle but it is related to my Immigration administrative
problems. Immigration issued me a green card 2 months ago, I am still
waiting now with what just happened at Fort Covington POE, I don’t
necessarily want to enter in communication with them to find out what’s
going on with this green card without mentioning I already called them
about 3 months ago and they told me my green card wasn’t issued at that
time and they will send me a letter explaining what’s going on and that
letter never came. I know they issued a green card 2 months ago because
the Department of Motor Vehicle just called the Immigration office and
I am not sure it is the Albany one but if my memory is good, it is the
Albany Immigration office. Is it possible to erase the expired date of
Dec. 7th 2006 on my Visa because it is confusing everybody? – except
you and the “top” Immigration guy at Roosevelt POE? The problem is I
cannot transfer Ashley’s car to my name even if I have a Notary Public
State of New York, Marci M. Ackerman who signed the affidavit for
transfer of motor vehicle because I don’t have this green card. VA
Office rules in Massena: Because of VA rules like Ashley should call
them before going to the emergency even if he was very weak – his arms
and legs were even shacking and was yellow all over – the rule is to
wait another business day to call them before going to emergency
because their office was closed at 4:00 p.m. and it was about 5:00 p.m.
when I called the ambulance. I wasn’t willing to wait an extra day with
my husband in this condition – he was feeling so bad he couldn’t even
sign his admission papers, I had to sign them, otherwise he wouldn’t be
admitted at the emergency at the Massena Memorial Hospital…Ashley
didn’t want to go back to a VA Hospital (and I understand him perfectly
about this because it is me who encouraged him to take the “first offer
of exit door available”) and that’s why he waited that long. I had to
do something. I must also add that the reason why I waited from Nov.
26th to Nov. 28th, is I was afraid Ash would be back to a VA hospital
also (yes, we were both very scared) and I was trying my very best to
help him like to give him a triple dose of lactulose like they did at
the ICU of the Albany VA Medical Center to decrease the ammonia level
in his body and it seemed to work on Nov. 27th but not on Nov. 28th so
I had to realize something else was going on and now I know what it was
- it was his liver on the way to totally shut down and that’s why he
was yellow. With 881 $ per month for 2 persons since June 16th, 2006 –
a single pension not adjusted by the VA yet and Ashley never received
the retro payment from the date of our marriage on Oct. 29th 2004 to
now his death on Dec. 5th, 2006, this wasn’t really a sinecure for us
and I contacted the American Legion in Canton to enter in communication
with the Veteran administration because I can not get the 881$ per
month anymore because it was for Ashley when he was living without me
(forced partition) and when I was living with him. (reunification) We
were so afraid of the VA hospitals and that’s why we were not very
quick to call the VA Office before going to the emergency so we waited
2 extra days to finally not have the choice to call the ambulance and
go straight to the emergency because Ashley was feeling pretty bad. So
the VA won’t take the last bills even if it was a matter of life and
death and the VA Office was closed when I called the ambulance at 5:00
p.m. because they are closing at 4:00 p.m. Because the Department of
Motor Vehicle is waiting for a green card not coming, I can not even do
transactions at the bank Sir because I only have 1 ID card, the SSC
because nobody wish to consider my Visa, except to deposit in Ashley’s
bank account but I won’t be able to pay the bills this way anymore, I
can not even use this account opened to both names to make checks – I
pay cash or by money orders I am buying at the U.S. Post office. I
really have a problem and I don’t wish to go back to Canada because I
badly need to mourn Ashley for a while in Massena – that is my biggest
need. Oh yes, I can not even get the non-driver ID card at the Dept of
Motor Vehicle to help me with the bank business because they are
waiting for this the green card also for this non-driver ID card. For
Ashley’s sister, Anne: And finally, I have a special request for
Ashley’s buddy since they are teenagers, Merk Green, the husband of
Ashley’s sister. Ashley’s kidneys were totally and entirely shut down.
There was absolutely no hope for a liver transplant for him when the
help from the Georgetown University Hospital was made available to you,
could you please transfer this favor to Merk Green? Merk is waiting
since about 2 years to have a liver transplant and I don’t wish Ash’s
sister to pass through the same horrible event than me. I would love
for them to have this privilege transferred, Mr. McHugh if possible.
Contrary to Ash, Merk is on a liver transplant list but I told Merk at
Ashley’s funerals I will do the request for him because once the liver
is totally shut down, I know by experience the death is following….too
