"There's no question about it. Wall Street got drunk," Bush said at a private event in Houston on Friday. "It got drunk and now it's got a hangover. The question is, how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments?"

Bush's comments were recorded on a cellular telephone camera and posted to the YouTube Internet site on Tuesday.

He was in Houston to raise money for Republican congressional candidate Pete Olson, who is challenging incumbent Democrat Nick Lampson.

The video shows Bush joking with a friendly crowd and musing about his life when he leaves the White House in January. "We've got a housing issue," Bush said. "Not in Houston, evidently not in Dallas, because Laura's over there trying to buy a house today."

Bush explained that his wife no longer wished to live in rural Crawford, Texas.

"I like Crawford, unfortunately after eight years of asking her to sacrifice, I am no longer the decision maker," he said. "I did tell her, 'Honey, we've been on government pay now for 14 years, go slow."'

Bush, 62, was arrested for drunken driving when he was 30 and gave up alcohol when he turned 40.

GOP Tech Guru Mike Connell 'High IQ Forrest Gump...At Scene of Every Single Crime' Say Ohio Attorneys

Last week Ohio Attorney Cliff Arnebeck held a press conference in Columbus to announce his motion to lift the stay on the long-running King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell lawsuit in which massive improprieties, irregularities, and violations of the Voting Rights Act are alleged to have taken place in the 2004 Presidential Election in Ohio.

In the wake of the failure by the Buckeye State's Attorney General to properly investigate the allegations, and new evidence and testimony unearthed by Arnebeck and other private investigators, he is now asking that the stay on the lawsuit be lifted by the court in order to refocus the case and depose Karl Rove, and a number of other top GOP operatives believed to be involved in manipulating the results of the '04 election.

One of those operatives is Republican tech-guru Mike Connell.

Steve Heller covered last week's press conference for us, which featured comments from data security expert Stephen Spoonamore alleging fraud in the '04 election and Arnebeck's assertion that he believes "Rove will be identified as having engaged in a corrupt, ongoing pattern of corrupt activities specifically affecting the situation here in Ohio."

The following day, RAW STORY's Larisa Alexandrovna detailed related concerns by Arnebeck and Spoonamore concerning Diebold's questionable involvement in the 2002 Senate race in Georgia.

   After last week's presser, Velvet Revolution's Brett Kimberlin sat down to follow up with Arnebeck and attorney/investigative journalist Bob Fitrakis, who participated in both the original '04 election lawsuits and has reported in detail on the related matters continuously since then at the Columbus Free Press.

In the video-taped interview, posted at right (see video at original link bottom of page; appx. 10 mins), the two attorneys focus specifically on their concerns about GOP operative/IT specialist Connell, who, they allege, has been found to have been "at the scene of the crime" for numerous questionable elections since 2000. Connell's firm was also responsible for creating the RNC email systems used by Karl Rove and others. He is also said to have installed the existing Congressional computer networks for high-security House and Senate committees such as Judiciary and Intelligence.

VELVET REVOLUTION: Cliff and Bob you just had a press conference, talking about the next steps you are going to take in litigation. It looks like you're looking for discovery to understand the facts behind what happened in 2004 and make sure this doesn't happen in 2008. Can you give us an idea of the kinds of people or the names of people that you intend to target?

CLIFF ARNEBECK: At the very top of the list is probably Mike Connell. For the same reason that Spoonamore is so valuable to us as a witness, Connell has a breadth of perspective in this stuff and when Connell, with his politics and his position, identifies Triad and the Rapp family as an area, as a point of vulnerability - Well, we're saying, if Connell makes the same observation --which we think he will because if you look at this objectively, it makes no sense. Here's a guy, he's a mathematician or an engineer or whatever; we anticipate he is going to say "Yeah, that looks odd."

So Connell's an important witness and because we're talking about a conspiracy, one of the problems is you say 'where's the coordination, where's the communication?' --- Here's one individual who's been part of all the elements of the things that we think are problematic.

BOB FITRAKIS: He's a high IQ Forrest Gump. It's like everything important --- 2000 election Florida; 2004 Ohio; firewall in Congress --- he happens to show up and be the builder of these [im]penetrable forces and also may know who has the key to get in.

VR: So he's at the scene of the crime... whether he's pulling the gun or not.

FITRAKIS: Every single crime --- Well even more than that. He's the guy who made the gun.

VR: Now you mentioned KR [Karl Rove], who's been your interest in the deposition?

ARNEBECK: The problem with a guy like KR everyone wants, here Bush has been identified as the architect, you're saying the corrupt elections, he's obviously someone you need to talk to. The problem is you don't build the foundation of getting the evidence out about 'Hey, this is obvious fraud' to the point where, 'If you don't appear, Mr. Rove, we're going to...the prosecutor's going to call.' That's the position we're really in. Mr. Rove is not going to step forward to help us put him in jail.

So we need to build the case on witnesses who will come forward to testify. That's why Connell's important.

Then we need to go after some of the people that are proved [to be] clearly engaged in fraudulent conduct, which appears to be the Rapp family in 2000.

VR: What about, you mentioned Jack Abramoff, when I interviewed Alabama Governor Don Siegelman last week, he stated on camera that Abramoff and his henchman Mike Scanlon were the bagmen for Rove who... Is that why you were thinking or mentioning him?

ARNEBECK: Mentioning Rove?

VR: No, mentioning Abramoff. In the press conference, you mentioned Abramoff was behind HAVA.

ARNEBECK: Yeah, Abramoff and Grover Norquist. There are all these characters. You know what's interesting about some of these people? Well, first of all, Abramoff by virtue of the fact that he's willing to be more cooperative these days.

FITRAKIS: Very small merry-go-round same basis, Connell, Abramoff, Bob Ney, Karl Rove keep coming around the Rapp family over and over again. And every place they go, what you find is illegal money laundering, the FBI, Justice Department launching investigations against Democrats. And even more interesting, since the [advent of the] electronic voting machines, what you find is tracking polls and exit polls that are predicting victories for Democrats --- as in Georgia in 2002, Ohio in 2004 --- that suddenly become unexpectedly flipped at the last second as if somebody had built a computer network and was essentially hacking the vote.

VR: Now I know you got into a little bit about Connell in this press conference --- and it wasn't really clear to me --- but it seemed like you were saying Connell had created the servers that were used to run the Ohio election results through Chattanooga TN, Smartech, and these are the same servers that house other GOP operations, including the email systems that Karl Rove and George Bush ...

FITRAKIS: They're running through the .... ??
You have got to wonder why you get literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of sites, partisan websites, sites like GW.com --- ah, even more important, the voter vault, which is essentially everyone that's probably voted in America --- that's in real time, that's Republicans updated during the election. And you know sites that go running to the White House and they're on the same integrated servers in this secure old bank building --- the old pioneer bank building in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You have to ask yourself why would the state of Ohio, at the last second, right when the unexpected vote flip comes, be outsourcing that in real time to Tennessee.

And why did Mr. Connell build such a system?

And I think the suggestion is that it might have been built in such a way that other people who have access to central tabulators know the vote count they need to win an election because the exit polls are coming in all showing Kerry winning at 51:48. And then it's flipped, but it's flipped because these unexpected, unexplained results in these 14 Republican-dominated southwest counties, most of these that reported in later than in Cleveland and Columbus, both that still had people in line by court order in Franklin county until midnight.

So you've got, [which] hardly ever do, small rural areas report[ing] after the big cities where the polls are jammed and the polls are open by court order until midnight but historically this .. this is done by the wire services and other things. You need to know the exact vote you need to win. and they [Republicans] had a system in place.

...and that system was built by Mike Connell.

VR: Now, let me ask this because it was not clear to me in the press conference about the conflicts --- both actual and possible conflict of interest that Michael Connell is laboring under by handling George W. Bush's election campaign websites and, then, also Ken Blackwell's election websites and on the other side the election results for the state of Ohio.

FITRAKIS: ...and the firewall of the U.S. Congress...

VR: ...and two of them being highly-partisan and one of them being supposedly nonpartisan. Now you've also got Connell handling Jeb Bush's website down in Florida. and then shortly after the inauguration of George Bush, Connell gets the first private company awarded contract allowing his company behind the firewall of the U.S. Congress and then he takes over House Intelligence, House Ways and Means, House Judiciary, Rules and Ethics --- the most important committees in congress.

I'm just wondering if you could talk about this conflict?

ARNEBECK: if you think about it, as a government official, or as an agent of government, one of your jobs is to protect whatever you're responsible for from fraudulent manipulation, and if you --- in wearing that hat as the fiduciary of the public trust --- you see, you see indications of possible corruption.

But the source of the possible corruption is from the partisan side of things where you have, you wear a partisan hat. The problem is: Are you being scrupulous? Are you being …taking aggressive countermeasures as you would if you were completely independent? [But are you] when it's coming from a partisan, you know, when it's coming from your friends?

And that is the conflict of interest. Even if you have the ethical caliber that you can wear both hats at the same time, it certainly creates an appearance problem.

And when you combine that with the fact that 2004 was stolen, it's clear, it's crystal clear and it's absolutely crystal clear that 2000 was stolen. So here are two stolen elections, and here's a guy wearing this government hat, and it sure looks like he was not protecting the system against data, uh, fraudulent data manipulation which should be part of his responsibility as the government, the agent of the government.

FITRAKIS: when you take the most partisan IT man in the history of the US, every time an irregularity occurs, Florida 2000, 2004 Ohio, he's the guy who built the system.

Then you put him in charge of building the security and firewall for the U.S. Congress? Dealing with the most sensitive matters? All of the emails and communications of the party that he hates?

Uh, how can you do that? I mean, it's an invitation to spy.

It's an invitation to gather information in an information age.

Knowledge is power. He holds the secrets of the temple.

The most partisan IT man on earth [who] was at the scene of every crime is the [very] guy who's protecting the secrecy and security of the Democrats he despises.

That's what's wrong about it.

Produce The Note “How-To”

Produce the Note - Steps To Follow:

Using the “produce the note” strategy is something all homeowners facing foreclosure can do. If you believe you’ve been treated unfairly, fight back. We have created templates for a legal request, a letter to your lender and a motion to compel to help you through the process.

WHO OWNS THE NOTE?

Your goal is to make certain the institution suing you is, in fact, the owner of the note (see steps to follow below). There is only one original note for your mortgage that has your signature on it. This is the document that proves you owe the debt.

During the lending boom, most mortgages were flipped and sold to another lender or servicer or sliced up and sold to investors as securitized packages on Wall Street. In the rush to turn these over as fast as possible to make the most money, many of the new lenders did not get the proper paperwork to show they own the note and mortgage. This is the key to the produce the note strategy. Now, many lenders are moving to foreclose on homeowners, resulting in part from problems they created, and don’t have the proper paperwork to prove they have a right to foreclose.

THE HARM

If you don’t challenge your lender, the court will simply allow the foreclosure to proceed. It’s important to hold lenders accountable for their carelessness. This is the biggest asset in your life. It’s just a piece of paper to them, and one they likely either lost or destroyed.

When you get a copy of the foreclosure suit, many lenders now automatically include a count to re-establish the note. It often reads like this: “…the Mortgage note has either been lost or destroyed and the Plaintiff is unable to state the manner in which this occurred.” In other words, they are admitting they don’t have the note that proves they have a right to foreclose.

If the lender is allowed to proceed without that proof, there is a possibility another institution, which may have bought your note along the way, will also try to collect the same debt from you again.

A Tennessee borrower recently had precisely that happen to her. Her lender, Ameriquest, foreclosed on her in July of 2007. About three months later, another bank sent her a default notice for the mortgage on the house she just lost. She called to find out what was going on. After being transferred from place to place and left on hold for lengthy periods of time, no one could explain what happened. They said they would get back to her, but never did. Now, she faces the risk of having her credit continually damaged for a debt she no longer owes.

FIGHT FOR FAIRNESS

This process is not intended to help you get your house for free. The primary goal is to delay the foreclosure and put pressure on the lender to negotiate. Despite all the hype about lenders wanting to help homeowners avoid foreclosure, most borrowers know that’s not the reality.

Too many homeowners have experienced lender resistance to their efforts to work out a payment structure to keep them in their homes. Many lenders bear responsibility for these defaults, because they put borrowers into unfair loans using deceptive, hard-sell practices and then made the problem worse with predatory servicing.

Most homeowners just want these lenders to give them reasonable terms on their mortgages, many of which were predatory to begin with. With the help of judges who see through these predatory practices, lenders will feel the pressure to work with borrowers to keep them in their homes. Don’t forget lenders made incredible amounts of money by using irresponsible practices to issue and service these loans. That greed led to the foreclosure crisis we’re in today. Allowing lenders to continue foreclosing on home after home, destroying our neighborhoods and our economy hurts us all. So, make it hard for your lender to take your home. Make ‘em produce the note!

STEPS TO FOLLOW

A. If your lender has already filed suit to foreclose on your home:

1. Use the first form. It’s a fill-in-the-blank legal request to your lender asking that the original note be produced, before it can proceed with the foreclosure. In some jurisdictions, the courts require the original request to be filed with the clerk of court and a copy of the request to be sent to the attorney representing the lender. To find out the rules where you live, call the Clerk of Court in your jurisdiction.
2. If the lender’s attorney does not respond within 30 days, file a motion to compel with the court and request that the court set a hearing on your motion. That, in effect, asks the judge to order the lender to produce the documents.
3. The judge will issue a ruling at your hearing. Many judges around the country are becoming more sympathetic to homeowners, because of the prevalence of predatory lending and servicing. In the past, many lenders have relied upon using lost note affidavits, but in many cases, that’s no longer enough to satisfy the judge. They are holding the lender to the letter of the law, requiring them to produce evidence that they are the true owners of the note. For example:

• In October 2007, Ohio Federal Court Judge Christopher Boyko dismissed 14 foreclosure cases brought by investors, ruling they failed to prove they owned the properties they were trying to seize.

B. If you are in default, but your lender has not yet filed suit against you:

1. Use the second form. It’s a fill-in-the-blank letter to your lender which also requests they produce the original note, before taking foreclosure action against you.
2. If the lender does not respond and files suit against you to foreclose, follow the steps above.

I just saw my emails here. 

 

My heart is dying (really) to not see my husband for 20 months now because of the Canadian gov't so I am advising you to NOT come in Canada to live.  If this situation would continue to go on I would truly have an heart attack.

 

If you have an opportunity in the U.S. it would be better for you because few true christians are there yet and true christians like the Jews.  Who are the guys helping the Jews in Jerusalem?  The American Christians.  The Canadians ones are probably sleeping.  Ashley (my husband) published your email below everywhere he could.

If any of my readers haven't heard from me for the past three weeks, it's because I've been dying. On the night of Independence Day, I was driving home from Jerusalem when I was hit head-on
by a so far unknown driver. Except for eight seconds when the brave ambulance drivers from ZAKA permitted me to use the phone to call home., I remember almost nothing for the next four days.
But other people helped me put it together. Visitors such as Iris Mersel, were forcibly removed from near my presence while I was forced to fight for my life. My body was punctured in the chest and lungs and in fact I had reached the point of traumatic shock.I was barely kept alive by one lung which had turned atelectic. When the lung chose to breath out, my body chose to die, or look a lot like it.
I am not going to tell you my suspicions as I hadn't after my recent stroke, But the police are putting up every barrier to an honest investigation by my insurance company and my attorney Dov

During my time in the hospital, Baruch from Kedumim persuaded me that I had to leave the country to save my life and prevent tragedy to my children.
I know he is right and I plan to take a year off to write the ultimate book on popular Judaism...

Wilcox in his book, Transformation of the Republic, claims Americans have been robbed of their own history, revealing hidden documentation about who really killed Abraham Lincoln. 2 May 2006 By Greg Szymanski   The United States has been transformed "from a beacon of light to an empire with beast-like tendencies," according to Canadian author C.T. Wilcox, as the world is headed "for a Vatican led and instigated cataclysm" while the U.S. population sleepwalks towards the edge of extinction.   Wilcox wrote these words, explaining his must read book called The Transformation of the Republic: The Origins of the Religious Hi-Jacking of the American Government and the Truth Behind the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln.   Transformation, said Wilcox, is a 375 page expose of Vatican and Jesuit intrigues and interference into the political structure of the United States and Europe . And according to the author it contains irrefutable evidence, shocking revelations and fully authenticated documentation - much of it hidden for almost 100 years - to support the his conclusion that the American Republic has been hi-jacked by the Papacy through the corrupt and evil influences and diabolic direction of the Jesuit Order.   "The people of the United States have been robbed of their own history. This is the worst kind of theft," writes Wilcox about how the history books have been changed to cover up the true intentions of the religious order behind the New World Order, adding his research proves without question the Jesuits killed Abraham Lincoln   "The Jesuits killed Lincoln and buried the evidence. But just as water seeks its own level, so does the truth eventually surface and make itself known. Deception and denial are only band-aids in the modern day world of intelligence, tooled by the Internet and other high tech investigative systems.   "Today anyone can become a good detective. If it had not been myself, someone else would have undertaken the task of doing the digging and piecing together the true story of President Lincoln's assassination."   In his book, Wilcox, sets up a substantial case on who really killed Lincoln , as the 16th President of the United States was well aware of the dangers the Monarchies of Europe and the Vatican posed to the young Republic.   "IN 1822 the Roman Catholic Monarchies of Europe conspired with the Vatican to destroy the concept of popular government, as found in the experiment of the United States , by means of infiltration, subversion and corruption," writes Wilcox. "The tools used were the Leopold foundation, which was set up by Prince Metternich of Austria and the Jesuit Order. The purpose being to use the financial and military arms of the United States to further the interests of the Papacy in its goal of putting all the world under the temporal submission of the Church."     Wilcox masterfully uncovers how Lincoln candidly discussed the role and limits of the U.S. government, as well as presenting sworn statements of priests regarding foreknowledge of Lincoln 's murder, including private letters from Edwin Sherman, T.M. Harris, Louis Weichman and Robert Lincoln to Charles Chiniquy, a priest who Lincoln represented as a lawyer against the Jesuit Order.   The case made by Wilcox that the Jesuits were behind the murder, a story covered up in the history books, can be found at his web site at www.ctwilcox.com where the book can be purchased for $29.95.   "After the successful murder of the 'saviour of the nation', President Lincoln, on that Good Friday Easter weekend of 1865," writes Wilcox,  "a date of which the symbolism was not lost, the Jesuit masterminds of that most evil crime began to pressure President Johnson to implement the 14th amendment to the United States' Constitution.   "This amendment effectively altered the citizenship away from the states' proper, under state authority, and transferred this to the Union , under a centralized Federal authority. Before this change one was considered a citizen of the United States by reason of being the citizen of a particular state.    "The truth can hurt; but it can also set us free. What do we have to gain from learning about this cruel conspiracy? Does it have any bearing on today's conspiratorial world of alphabet intelligence groups, weapons of mass destruction, bioterrorism, weather modification and other forms of warfare?   "What type of world do we want for our children and grandchildren? Or perhaps a better question: What elements of today's world do we wish to reform, in order to lift the veil of frustration and despair and unloose the shackles of ignorance and fear?   "It is my hope that the history presented on these pages, which has been suppressed for well over 100 years, and of which the American people particularly have been robbed, will cause them to wake up to the dangers being foisted upon them, recognize them for what they are, and then act to insure that the plot for their destruction will not come to its ultimate realization any time soon."   Wilcox makes the claim through his decade of research that the Jesuit Order is an association of highly organized warrior priests, being politicians first and foremost and being expelled from virtually every country they have had the opportunity to corrupt and destroy.   Their modus operandi, claims Wilcox, is political and educational infiltration and subversion and the fomenting of wars and revolutions in order to weaken and mold the target country into submissive pliability, to then be used to carry out their purpose of global ecclesiastically backed dictatorship.   He adds the United States is no exception to this global operation, being put directly in the cross-hairs of eventual martial law and destruction after the 911 attacks.   "The strikes upon the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 marked a pivotal point in the evolution of the experiment of popular government," writes Wilcox. "What followed has been nothing short of a pronounced continuation of a religious war, which had its origins in the Middle Ages, using the armed forces of a compliant host nation or alliance of nations according to the wishes of the Papacy.   "The ultimate goal is the eventual re-location of this so-called "Chair of Peter" to Jerusalem in order to direct and control all the people of the earth and the complete destruction of anything not in accord with Her dictates. Chief among these ideals, which are hated by the Church of Rome, are freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom of the press and freedom of association; in fact, every fundamental freedom on which the United States was founded.   "This opposition to basic human rights was monumented in the famous Papal Bull of Pope Pius IX in 1864, the Syllabus of Errors; a direct response to the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights.   "The timing of the issuance of this document was designed to be a deliberate political act for the express purpose of telling the world that the liberties of the United States and any other nation which has the audacity to implement representative self government apart from church consent was in direct opposition to God. This was at a crucial time of the War of the Rebellion in which the Papacy had openly sided with the Confederacy."   Although Transformation concentrates on the Roman Church, Wilcox said the principles can also be applied to any religious entity, particularly one that calls itself Christian, seeking to entangle itself with the political realm of which Jesus said it ought to be no part.   "Every person has the right to choose their religion and answer to their God," he adds.  "But no person has the right to use the machinery of the State or various other methods to force that choice on their fellow human beings. Nor do they have the right to use religion as a means to a political end.   "The history presented is the result of eight years of research. The purpose is two-fold: 1) to bring out the truth that had been cleverly buried until now by the perpetrators of Lincoln's assassination, and 2) to point out that any cabal, even in today's world, can achieve its ends by using religion as a form of mind control.   "Ignorance and superstition perpetrated by religious dogma set the stage for victimization. Witness Palestinian suicide bombers who are brainwashed to believe that they are martyrs and Islamic beheading squads daily using the airwaves and cyberspace to force political ends in the nations of Christendom and in the nations where they reside.   "Likewise, witness I.R.A. and Protestant intrigues in Ireland or Israeli massacres of whole towns and villages on the West Bank and Gaza, in the name of a god who they believe has given them the right to this land because they have been misled to think they are still "chosen" when, in fact, the true chosen, a holy nation referred to as the 'Israel of God', which is spiritual in nature, are those who hold the same faith that Christ held and practice what he taught [Isa. 43:10; Jer. 31:31-34; John 15:16-19; Acts 15:14; Gal 6:16]. All of these belief systems are equally dangerous. They are tangible evidence of the repercussions of religious interference in political and nationalistic matters."   Recently, Wilcox's book was reviewed by Sharon K. Gilbert, for Watcher Magazine, who said:   Historians and academics will soon be salivating over a cache of recently uncovered documents relating to the Abraham Lincoln assassination and its subsquent prosecutory fallout - a voluminous collection that could be called the 'smoking gun' of the nineteenth century, untouched and unread and well-protected for nearly 150 years.   This heretofore unknown archive of material rests now in the capable hands of accomplished writer, C.T. Wilcox. Wilcox gained access to the remarkable papers via a friend, who himself received the documents after the rightful inheritor passed away.   In his newest book, "The Transformation of the Republic", Wilcox presents a methodical inspection of these newly unearthed documents and compares them to historically accepted materials, making strong usage of excerpted passages and entire quotes to buttress his fundamental premise that Lincoln 's murder was ordered by a dark figure known as The Black Pope. Wilcox will tell you that we've overslept, and that our slumber may well be our undoing. The root of evil that bled a president in retribution for sins against a monarchist master plan has sprouted a fully branched tree that now looms over our present republic, ready to crash down upon each slumbering citizen, making slaves of many, corpses of most. This is not a book for the timid reader, yet the timid are the most vulnerable.   "The Transformation of the Republic" contains 28 pages of images of the remarkable original documents that provide the foundation of Wilcox's stunning arguments. And though most readers would shudder at the thought of slogging through an historical tome of 400 pages, the writing is easy to follow and tantalizingly presented. It is an astoundingly quick read - at odds with most historical non-fiction.
